Call Meeting to order by Mike Wuest at 7:00 p.m. Present: Mike Wuest, Chairman; Ron Triemstra, Harley Reabe, Kathy Morris, Treasurer; Marian Mildebrandt, Clerk. Absent: Sydney Rouse, Mark Pettack, Supervisors due to weather conditions. 2. Pledge of Allegiance said by all in attendance 3. Approve minutes of December 8, 2009 meeting M/S Reabe/Triemstra to accept as presented. Motion carried 3 -0 Absent - 2 4. Monthly Financial Review: a. Treasurers report Summary of last months financial statements. b. Clerks report Budget report (monthly) expenses and revenues 5. Assessor report Elizabeth Rowley - Absent 6. Library report Linda DeNell - Absent Activities at the Library Report on file 7. Building Inspector report Jerry Buhrow, Jr. Building Permits issued. Not present 8. Fire Commission report Orlo Bierman Covering the monthly meeting. Fire Commission approved the Agreement with Town of Green Lake. The Fire Dept has the new breathing apparatus that they ordered. 9. City Affairs report Supervisor Rouse (Absent) Monthly meeting of the City concerning Town of Brooklyn. Report on file. 10. Road Report Supervisor Triemstra Concerning the conditions of the roads. Plowed snow today and will plow snow tomorrow. 11. Recycling Report Supervisor Reabe. Monthly activities at the Recycling/Sanitation/Green Waste Center. Want to propose issuing new stickers for the residents of Town of Brooklyn. Discussion followed 12. Public Comments (15 minutes). Todd Huzinski talked about 25/25 to be discussed later. 13. Chairperson report Chair Wuest a. Consideration and Action on: Land/Sewer/Street Agreement with the City of Green Lake. Nothing new. Will keep on agenda. b. Consideration and Action on: Letter supporting the County for implementation of energy independence of 25% by 2025. Resolution 2010-05 M/S Triemstra/Reabe to approve. Discussion none. Roll Call: Triemstra, Yes; Reabe, Yes; Wuest, Yes. Motion carried 3-0 absent 2. c. Consideration and Action on: Revised agreement for the 1st Responders with the City of Green Lake/Town of Brooklyn/Town of Green Lake. M/S Wuest/Reabe to approve 1st Responder Service Agreement with the Town of Green Lake and the City of Green Lake. Discussion none. Roll Call: Triemstra, Yes; Reabe, Yes; Wuest, Yes. Motion carried 3-0 absent 2. 14. Plan Commission: a. Consideration and Action: Landowner/Applicant: Cedar Ridge Real Estate Investments, LLC. d. General legal description: Parcel #004-00585-0000 Part of the SE Ό of Section 24, T16N R13E in the Town of Brooklyn, (+ 16.5 Acres) To be identified by Certified Survey Map. Address of the site: Brooklyn G Road; Planned public hearing date: was held February 4, 2010; Requests: The owners/applicants are requesting a rezone from A-1 Exclusive Agriculture District to A-3 Light Agriculture District. Resolution 2010- 03 - Plan Commission approved the re-zone at their meeting. Discussion M/S Wuest/Triemstra to uphold the Plan Commission Recommendation for the Re-zone from A-1 to A-3. Discussion none. Roll Call: Triemstra, Yes; Reabe, Yes; Wuest, Yes. Motion carried 3-0 absent 2. b. Consideration and action on: Landowner/Applicant: Steven Machkovich; Agent: Steven R. Sorenson; General legal description: Parcel #004-00619-0100 Lot 1 Certified Survey Map 1297, Section 25, T16N R13E in the Town of Brooklyn, (+8.36 Acres); Address of the site: N5307 Brooklyn G Road; Planned public hearing date: was held February 4, 2010; Requests: The owner/applicant is requesting a rezone from A-1 Exclusive Agriculture District to R-1 Single-Family Residence District. Resolution 2010- 04 [this was withdrawn by the agent prior to the Plan Commission meeting]. 15. Suggested agenda items for next meeting. Bring calendars may have to call the Board of Review in March for the Murphy assessment. Dog Ordinance 2-82. Would like to take to the Attorney and have him go through it. Clerk recommended that we do the Dog Ordinance as one item and a Resolution for the fee schedule. Green Lake Organization is looking for a donation from the Town. Land/Sewer Agreement. 16. Next Town Board Meeting, March 9, 2010 7:00 p.m. 17. Adjourn M/S Wuest/Triemstra to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. Motion carried.
