TOWN OF BROOKLYN NOTICE OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Regular Meeting to Consider the Agenda Below Wednesday, April 27, 2005 7:00 PM Town Office ÑFirst National Bank Building, Intersection of Highways 23, 49 and A, Green Lake, WI NOTICE OF TOWN BOARD MEETING Members of the Town of Brooklyn Board may attend the Town of Brooklyn Plan Commission meeting at the above-specified time and place. Members would attend for the purpose of gathering information regarding the following agenda. The Town Board at this meeting will take no votes or other action. Minutes - Call meeting to order by Ron Benson at 7:15 p.m. Present: Ron Benson, Chairman; Commissioners: Phyllis Peterson;Carolyn King; Roger Priebe; Sharon Gebhardt;; [Mary Jane Bumby & JoAnn Lamire arrived at 7:20] Amy Emery (Omnni) - Pledge of Allegiance - Approve Agenda - M/S to approve agenda Roger Priebe/Phyllis Peterson Ron handed out items for the next Plan Commission meeting on May 4, 2005. Also some information on 2 ordinances relating to this request. - Approve minutes of last Plan Commission Meeting - New Business o Discussion surrounding the new County Land Division Ordinance. o Presentation by Omnni Associates of revised information and options that the Plan Commission may want to recommend to the Town Board for consideration. Discuss possible dates for public hearings. ---------------------- Amy Emery ----------- Will discuss items from last meeting - 7 items. She handed out information on how to address the items. She explained the item and gave a description and comments in boxes for each item. Then she went into comments from Attorney Wertsch and presented a new ordinance. - JoAnn LaMire questioned why Attorney Wertsch had waited so long to comment on the ordinance. He responded that he wanted to wait until a final draft was close so as not to duplicate services. She discussed 1st - Subdivisions being 5 acres- it they should be allowed in the town subdivisions. On page 3 of ordinance. 2nd item - The Development Agreement on page 23 - leave in --- 3rd item. Standards for approval of a preliminary plat. - (d) - she will combine 3 & 4 - Amy will do 'search' on the word public and look at the context of the use of the word. 4th item. - Street design and layout. (n) private roads - everyone agreed with having it in. 5th item - page 44 (e) (1) from driveway ordinance of the Town. - after discussion - leave alone. 6th item. Item 45 - covers several areas - it should follow the comprehensive plan. If someone comes with a subdivision that is not consistent with the Plan, the commission can deny it, or would have to change it. Law is that we must update once every 10 years. You can amend it anytime - with a public hearing and adopt and distribute to surrounding communities. She will make revisions tomorrow and post on the website. She will come to the next meeting on May 4, 2005 - Adjourn Requests from persons with disabilities that need assistance to participate in this meeting or hearing should be made to the Town Office at 294-6600 with as much advance notice as possible.
