\\TOWN OF BROOKLYN NOTICE OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Meeting to Consider the Agenda Below Thursday December 8, 2005 7:00 PM Town Office - First National Bank Building, Intersection of Highways 23, 49 and A, Green Lake, WI NOTICE OF TOWN BOARD MEETING Members of the Town of Brooklyn Board may attend the Town of Brooklyn Plan Commission meeting at the above-specified time and place. Members would attend for the purpose of gathering information regarding the following agenda. The Town Board at this meeting will take no votes or other action. Minutes Call meeting to order. By Ron Benson, Chairman; Carolyn King; Mary Jane Bumby; Tom Esslinger; Phyllis Peterson; Sharon Gebhardt; Robert Wertsch, Attorney, Marian Mildebrandt, Recording Secretary; Adam Sayre, Omnni Associates Rep. At 7:05 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance. Said by all in attendance Approve Agenda. - M/S to approve agenda as presented by Tom Esslinger/Mary Jane Bumby Approve minutes of last Plan Commission Meeting. M/S Mary Jane Bumby/Carolyn King. New Business. o Item 1: Request for Conditional use Permit for a Planned Unit Development (PUD), Michael & Mark Marks property, N5529 County Road A. 1.33 Acres. Description of land: Terrace Beach subdivision 2 S 25' of Lot 5; All of Lot 6; that part of Evergreen Isle S' ly of extended N line of above description ; & the N 50' (recorded as 65') of Lot 7; also that part SE 1/4 NE 1/4 Sec 27 lying between said Lots and new road. o Attorney Wertsch-The Subdivision Ordinance does cover condominiums for density. o Omnni Staff Report: Read his staff report. Omnni recommends denial as submitted. o Public Comment in Favor: Mike Marks - they already have 5 holding tanks on the property for 15 years. 4 are 2,000 gals are for the restaurant and 1 at 3,000 gals. to the existing guest house. Being in the Sanitary District, it all goes to the Wastewater treatment plant. o Public Comment Against: None o Plan Commission Discussion and Decision: M/S To deny the 4-units at this time due to our ordinance prohibiting it by Phyllis Peterson/Sharon Gebhardt. Roll Call: Phyliss Peterson, Yes; Carolyn King, No; Mary Jane Bumby, No; Sharon Gebhardt, Yes; Tom Esslinger, Yes; Ron Benson, Yes. Motion to deny carried. Yes: 4 No: 2 Discussion was held about the vote. How to go on from here and why it was denied as they are Recreational/Commercial. Which is different from the other lots in the area. The Plan Commission was not against the idea, but thought 3 houses would fit the area better and conform more to our Comprehensive Plan. o Item 2: Request for Zone change from A3 to C-2 and conditional use permit for: Gas Station, restaurant, car wash and retail strip. B-2 Enterprises, LLC. 12.580 acres. CORNER OF Hwy 23/49, County Road A, Description of Land: A parcel of land located in the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 15, Town 16 North, Range 13 East, Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake County, Wisconsin, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the South 1/4 corner of said Section 15; thence N00 -14'-45" W along the east line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 14 as established by Certified Survey Map No. 11202 528.41 ft. to the Point of Beginning; thence S87 - 13'-00" W 1143.84 ft.; thence No2 - 24'-08"E 485.80 ft.; thence N87 - 3'0" E along the south line of Certified Survey Map No. 1202 and extension thereof 1121.51 ft. to the southeast corner of C.S.M. No. 1202; thence S00 - 12'-45"E 484.28 ft. to the Point of Beginning, containing 12.580 acres more or less; together with and being subject to a right-of-way easement for ingress and egress to State Trunk "23". o Omnni Staff Report: Adam Sayre: We don't have enough information to act on this tonight. They feel that it should be tabled. Several items were on the information presented that were not in the original proposal that was presented to the Plan Commission previously.
