Held at Caestecker Public Library – 518 Hill Street, Green Lake, WI

Minutes
· Call meeting to order – by Mike Wuest at 7:00 p.m. Present: Mike
Wuest, Chair; Sydney Rouse, Supervisor; Susan McConnell, Supervisor,
Kathleen Morris, Treasurer; Marian Mildebrandt, Clerk.
· Pledge of Allegiance - said by all in attendance.
· Approve Minutes of June 12, 2007 meeting M/S Rouse/McConnell –
carry over to next month. Motion carried 3-0
· Financial Report: M/S Rouse/McConnell – Carry Over to Next month.
Motion carried 3-0
o Review of monthly checks written through June 30, 2007
· Library Report – Linda DeNell on Activities – see report – Summer
program in full swing.
· Building Inspector – Report on permits issued. Jerry Buhrow not
present. Questions on 2 permits not issued. Wuest reported that two
places in the Green Lake Conference Center started work without
permits. Buhrow has been in contact with Wuest regarding the
situation.
· Fire Commission – Orlo Bierman – Report on monthly meeting with 1st
Responders and Firemen. No report – Orlo Bierman not present.
· Update from Building (Town Hall) Committee – Most of drywall done,
taped and plaster, power is in, some of heating duct is in.
· ETJ Committee Update. No report, Meeting next Wednesday July 18,
2007 3:30 p.m.
· Website- Update – Sydney Rouse, waiting for feed back from board.
Discussion was held. Wuest requested that McConnell/Rouse work
together on website.
· Update on City Affairs – Sydney Rouse. – presented report. – Most
of discussion was on bandshell and how they will pay for it. Also the
Mayor’s term will be for 3 years term limits served 2 consecutive
ones. In order to serve again, there must be a 1 term layoff.
· Suggested items for possible further agenda’s – Supervisors –
Rouse/ would like it listed just before the next meeting date. Also
would like to have Plan Commission listed as a report. Should
codifying ordinances. Discuss porta potties.
· Public Comment (15 minutes) Betty Rowley – can people come in and
request to be added to the agenda. They can come to Chair and request
to be added to the agenda. Ron Triemstra – do you have the right to
speak. Sydney – no the council has to give permission to have someone
to speak. Wuest – someone thought there would be a July 12 plan
commission meeting. But that is not fact, and there is no contact from
Davel for over 3 weeks. PC will meet August 2nd, 7:00 p .m. Linda
DeNell indicated that there will need to be a meeting in August
regarding the Library budget. There will also be a Fire Commission
joint committee. Norb Janhke’s brother-in law passed away, Board will
send card. Betty Rowley - reassessment has started. They have sent
introduction letters to several households, Property owners on the
north side of the lake. They have started the on-site inspection. With
a 30 percent inspection rate. They must enter 90 percent of homes per
contract.
· License Requests – Operator’s Licenses. Approve or Deny (any or
all). M/S Rouse/McConnell to approve the 3 licenses. Motion carried
3-0
· Next Town Board Meeting – August 14, 2007. 7:00 p.m. WTA Unit
meeting July 19, 2007 at Manchester Senior Center.
· Adjournment. – M/S Wuest/Rouse to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Motion
Carried.
