E-mail: broklyn@dotnet.com Web: http://www.tn.brooklyn.wi.gov Minutes · Meeting called to order by Mike Wuest at 7:00 p.m. Present: Mike Wuest, Chair; Susan McConnell and Sydney Rouse, Supervisors; Marian Mildebrandt, Clerk – Absent: Kathy Morris, Treasurer · Pledge of Allegiance said by all in attendance · Approve Minutes of May 8, 2007 meeting. M/S Sydney Rouse/Susan McConnell to approve the minutes. Motion carried 3-0. · Financial Report o Mike Wuest presented treasurer’s Report. M/S Rouse/Wuest to approve treasurer’s report. Motion carried 3-0. o Review of monthly checks written through May 31, 2007. Totaled $81,689.86. Checks #9728-#9799. M/S McConnell/Wuest to approve as presented. Motion carried 3-0 · Library Report – Linda DeNell presented report on activities at Library. · Building Inspector – Report: Issued 4 permits for May. · Fire Commission – Orlo Bierman – Report on monthly meeting with 1st Responders and Fire Commission. – Have received title for “New” Used fire truck. Need Town and City approval to dispose of old lime green fire truck at auction. M/S Wuest/Rouse to accept donation of fire truck from Mike Havey. Approve 3-0 · Resolution 2007-01 to dispose of 1974 Lime Green Fire Truck by auction, M/S McConnell/Wuest to approve Resolution 2007-01. Roll call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion approved 3-0 · Update from Building (Town Hall) Committee. Ron Peabody – Trusses are up and sheathing on south side of building is done. · ETJ Committee update – no report. · Website – update – Rouse, researched several different websites and suggested sites to look at. Clerk will forward to Rouse the name of the contact person who currently does the website. tly. · Public Comments (15 minute limit). o American Legion will be hading a flag burning ceremony; anyone who wants to dispose of a flag should contact a member of the Legion. o Add to the agenda the City meetings report. (Clerk will write city asking for e-mails of all meetings). o Request to see item on agenda for items the Supervisors would like discussed at the next monthly meeting. · Approve license: beverage, liquor, mobile home and cigarette licenses. M/S Wuest/McConnell to approve all licenses as presented when payments are completed. Motion carried 3-0. · Open & award road bids for 2007 roadwork. o Trip Program, Woodland Circle. M/S Rouse/McConnell to approve Northeast Asphalt bid for $49,932.24. Roll Call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion carried. 3-0. o Fahrner Asphalt, Plover, WI. M/S Wuest/McConnell to disregard bids due to bids were for wrong materials. Motion carried. 3-0. o McConnell Road M/S McConnell/Wuest to accept Northeast Asphalt bid of $157,468.35. Roll Call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion carried. 3-0. o St. Marie Road to Townline. M/S Rouse/McConnell to approve bid of $23,867.85. Roll Call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion carried. 3-0. o Lakeview/Silver Creek Road to County A & Sunnyside Road. M/S McConnell/Wuest to approve for Slag Seal $9,459.15. Roll Call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion carried. 3-0. o McConnell Road to State Road 49/Forest Ridge. M/S McConnell/Wuest to approve bid of $10,900.00 to chip seal/pea gravel. Roll Call: Wuest, Yes; McConnell, Yes; Rouse, Yes. Motion carried. 3-0. · Next meeting July 10, 2007 at Library 7:00 p.m. · Adjourn: M/S Wuest/Rouse to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. Motion carried 3-0.
