NOTICE: Members of the Town of Brooklyn Board may attend the Town of
Brooklyn Plan Commission meeting at the above-specified time and
place. Members would attend for the purpose of gathering information
regarding the following Agenda. The Town Board members at this meeting
will take no votes or other action.

Minutes


1.	Call meeting to order by Mike Wuest at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Mike Wuest, Chair; Gordon Farrell; Ron Triemstra; Betty
Francour; Harley Reabe; Roger Priebe; Orlo Bierman; Sharon Esslinger,
and Chris Robinson, Alternate, Marian Mildebrandt, Clerk.
2.	Pledge of Allegiance said by all in attendance  
3.	Approve minutes of the last Plan Commission from February 5, 2009.
M/S Triemstra/Harley to approve minutes with typo correction.  Motion
carried 7/0.
4.	Public Comments: (15 minutes) None
5.	Consideration on:
Landowner/applicant: Jodi Timler Olmen and Brian Olmen. General legal
description: Part of the SE ј of Section 22, T16N R13E, Town of
Brooklyn. Tax Parcel No. 004-00533-0400 and 004-00533-0500  3.09
acres. Address of site: W905 Sunnyside Road; Planned public hearing
date: March 5, 2009. Request: To rezone 3+ acres from A-3 Light
Agricultural to R-1 Single Family Residential.

a.	Public Hearing: 
           In favor – Dennis Green – Ripon Land Surveying. Described
action requested. 
	      Brian Olmen – owner
            Against - None
6.	Consideration and action on Jodi Timler Olmen and Brian Olmen
request of rezone and land division to create a new CSM. Discussion by
Commissioners. – No discussion 
a.	– M/S Reabe/Priebe to approve the request for the rezone.
Discussion on Motion:  None: Roll Call: Esslinger, Yes; Bierman –
abstain; Priebe, Yes; Francour, Yes; Farrell, Yes; Reabe, Yes;
Triemstra, Yes. Motion carried 7-0 
b. Land division M/S Reabe/Farrell to approve the creation of the new
CSM. Discussion – None: Roll Call:  Triemstra, Yes; Reabe, Yes;
Farrell, Yes; Francour, Yes; Priebe, Yes; Bierman, abstain; Esslinger,
Yes. Motion carried 7-0. 
7.	Forward Plan Commission recommendations on rezone request and land
division to Town Board March 10, 2009 meeting. 
8.	Suggested agenda items for next meeting. None
9.	Set next meeting date & time. As needed.
10.	Adjourn. – M/S Priebe/Reabe to adjourn at 6:10 pm.  Motion carried
7-0
