Pledge of Allegiance Said by all in attendance 3. Discussion on repealing of all or parts of or amendments to: Question on anyone who does not have a comp plan or an ordinance for subdivisions. Everyone indicated that they had copies of both. Wuest gave review of why we are here at the courthouse meeting the question came up on which plan or ordinance we will be using. The attorney John Bazel will help with the questions. At 4:00 today I got a call from Daval that he will be presenting a revised plat probably next week. Bazel, The town adopted a comprehensive plan. It is in effect. For some things it is advisory for zoning issues. At January 1, 2010. They have to agree. Subdivision Ordinance any subdivisions that are applied have to agree with both, the stricter of the two will prevail. Comp is 1-2 acres. Subdivision Ordinance is ½ acre. Need to talk about bringing those two items in compliance with each other. Wuest, the question is which one do we lean on (7:07 p.m. Susan Mc Connell arrived). Discussion was held on choices. King felt that the 1 acre is better for green space. Subdivision 20,000 square feet is average side of lots.- in subdivision ordinance. If the lots of a plat meet the comp. Plan, there is no problem. If it conforms to the Subdivision Ordinance, there is a problem. They have to be made to be the same. Wuest lets deal with one thing at a time. We have about 4 weeks to get it straightened out. We all know that the Comp Plan is the rule in command at this time. a. Town Land and Subdivision ordinances They would apply where the comp doesnt disagree. The lot size is the main conflict. By 2010 they have to agree. b. Comprehensive Plan We will get getting into the comp plan at a later date. 4. Approve or Deny by Plan Commission no action 5. Approve or Deny by Town Board. no action 6. Adjourn M/S Rouse/Bierman to adjourn, Motion carried.
