TOWN OF BROOKLYN NOTICE OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING October 9, 2007 6:00 PM Town Office — N5988 County Road A ---- Green Lake, WI e-mail: broklyn@dotnet.com Web: www.tn.brooklyn.wi.gov NOTICE OF TOWN BOARD MEETING Members of the Town of Brooklyn Board may attend the Town of Brooklyn Plan Commission meeting at the above-specified time and place. Members would attend for the purpose of gathering information regarding the following agenda. The Town Board at this meeting will take no votes or other action. Minutes – · Call meeting to order by Mike Wuest, Chair at 6:00 p.m. o Present: Orlo Bierman, Mary Jane Bumby, Harley Reabe and Sharon Esslinger, Mike Wuest, Chair and Marian Mildebrandt, Clerk. · Pledge of Allegiance said by all in attendance · Approve minutes of the last Plan Commission from August 2, 2007.M/S Bumby/Reabe to approve, Discussion: Bumby – Add item 7. Dick Martin indicated that the eagles are in the area. He talked extensively about the eagles. Motion carried 4-0 [Note: after vote, Susan McConnell indicated that Martin also talked about the chestnut trees and thought that should be noted also] · Conditional Use Request: Owners: Michael D. Brooks & Mike Jankowski: Site Address: W1814 CTH A, § Lot 1 Certified Survey Map 1755 V7 Section 17, Town of Brooklyn, T16N R13E (+ 2.784 Acres) § Explanation: The owners are requesting a conditional use request to operate a mini warehousing and storage building business. · Public Hearing – Wuest opened up for public discussion. Mike Jankowski – we already have a warehouse on this site. We have enough room and would like the conditional use for another building. Bumby: is it in line with the other 2 buildings. Jankowski – we are not asking for anything unusual. Rouse – do we notify neighbors? Wuest, no – county does it only for zoning changes. Public discussion closed. 6:10 p.m. · Commission Discussion and Deliberation: Wuest, pretty straightforward request. The property is zoned properly. County report has no objections. Bierman – have you (Jankowski) contacted Land Conservation. Jankowski – we do that when we get permits. · Commission Decision: M/S Bumby/Reabe to approve – Motion carried 4-0 · Forward decision to Town Board for Approval of action form · Adjourn. – M/S Reabe/Bierman to adjourn – Motion carried 4-0 Requests from persons with disabilities that need assistance to participate in this meeting or hearing should be made to the Town Office at 294-6600 with as much advance notice as possible.
