Large Item Dumpster
Will be at the Center during regular hours
For large bulky items that do not fit in compactor
– NO APPLIANCES or ELECTRONICS
Compost Site
Only brush, grass clippings and leaves will be allowed in the collection area.

Recycling/Sanitation/Green Waste Center
We have a drop-off site for refuse, recycling and green waste collection at no additional charge for the Town residents ONLY.
Note: Businesses are required by Law to have their own dumpsters and are not allowed to use the Town Recycling/Sanitation/Green Waste Center (R/S/W).
The R/S/W Center is located at N6285 Berlin Road. For the hours of operation please check the schedule on the back side of this form.
To use the R/S/W, you are required to have a Town of Brooklyn sticker on your vehicle. Please see one of the attendants at the center if you do not have one on your vehicle.
Items that we collect and must be recycled include:
1) Containers (aluminum, glass, plastic and steel)
2) Paper/fiber products (newspaper, corrugated cardboard, magazines)
We do not collect the following items.
They are not allowed in a landfill.
1) Lead acid batteries (your old battery should be returned to the place you purchased the new one)
2) Major appliances, appliances that contain refrigerants and any electronics as they contain heavy metals. Again the place you purchase these item should take or may charge a small fee to recycle them.
3) Used tires
4) Used oil
5) Effective1-1-11 we can no longer take oil filters or any absorbents contaminated with oil.
NOTE:
If you are a resident of the Sanitary District and have garbage collection at your home and do not get pick up, please call (920) 295-4488 as the Town has nothing to do with missed collections.
